Sally is the author of 11 cookbooks, one of which “From My Kitchen to Yours” contains all gluten free recipes, with approximately 80% including dairy free options if needed.
Sally’s focus with her cooking is always on fresh and local wherever possible and additive free.
She also operates a small cooking school on her property in the idyllic Derwent Valley in Tasmania. On this 2 hectare property, Sally and husband Robert grow as much as possible of seasonal fruits and vegetables, and live with a menagerie of quirky animals, all of them other people’s cast-offs.
Having raised a family of 6 children with allergies (one with Coeliac Disease), Sally has been passionate in developing recipes for people who live and cope with food intolerances on a daily basis.
She believes that if the recipes are simple to prepare, delicious and are made from easily accessible, affordable ingredients, people will find their food regimes sustainable to the benefit of their ongoing health.
