Honey Crusted Beef Schnitzel by Olivia Dyer & Bridy Fulvio

Ingredients

  • 4 beef schnitzels
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1cup Casalare rice crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Crisco sunflower oil

Method

  1. Coat the schnitzels in honey and dip them into the rice crumbs.
  2. Heat the oil in a fry pan on medium heat, and gently fry until the schnitzels are golden and cooked through.

RECIPE NOTES

Diabetic Friendly: Instead of frying, oven bake or cook in a non-stick frypan without oil and serve with a garden salad.

Low Fat: Oven bake or cook in a non-stick frypan.

Toddler Friendly: Use a non-stick pan to reduce the need for frying.
