Sarah Leung is a Holistic Nutritionist, Accredited Practising Dietitian and the Owner of the Healthy Energy Holistic Nutrition & Lifestyle Centre in Melbourne, Victoria. Sarah started her business at a young age with a simple mission: to build a healthier society, one person at a time. She has since helped hundreds of people with their nutritional wellness needs, offering specialised help with digestive issues, weight management and chronic disease management, for conditions like diabetes.
Sarah has training in sports dietetics and in recent years she has developed strong interests in integrative and functional nutrition therapy. Sarah uses a holistic approach to help people connect the dots between lifestyle, mind-body health and nutrition to achieve healthy lifestyle. Her strong interest in cooking and practical nature led her to develop a unique service in her business, ‘Cooksultations’. These one on one consultations are conducted in the kitchen, showing people how to cook quick and simple dishes and encouraging clients to use ingredients they’ve never used before. Cooksultations also aim to reconnect people to their kitchen where nourishment, food and love are produced.
Being brought up and living in Hong Kong for 15 years, Sarah wants to spread the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She intends to study Chinese herbal medicine to compliment her dietetics and culinary nutrition skills and fulfil her mission to spread the message ‘Food as Medicine’.
Besides clinical consultation work, Sarah has presented wellness programs to corporates like Telstra Super, NAB, Victorian councils, the Department of Human Services, Victorian schools, Home Economics Victoria and many more.
